  • Key provider of LMOC feedback while experiencing unforeseen system difficulties
    • Provides critical, real-time feedback to LMOC technicians
    • Accomplishes unscripted troubleshooting to minimize training disruptions
  • Supported 348 RTO events sorties encompassing 2,760 sorties; impressive volume of training, particularly with no support provided during nearly two months of system upgrades and with one squadron on AEF deployment for most of the year
  • Provided War Room expertise and support during the initial Ft Eisenhower (formerly Ft Gordon) RRU installation; provided the connectivity checks from the War Room via LMON to ensure eventual functionality
  • Led the troubleshooting and eventual replacement of the Ft Eisenhower RRU’s GPS antenna, finally bringing the system to operational status
    • Identified that the older model antenna provided with the RRU is functional but could not achieve a fix in the allowed location; reserved as a potential backup part
    • Final step to complete the 4-year effort to improve coverage in the Bulldog MOA
  • Skillfully provided accurate recording for an LFE that included 10 x Shaw F-16s, 4 x Beaufort F-18s, 3 x Cherry Point AV-8Bs plus 2 x Draken A-4s and 2 x Draken F-1s
    • Integrated USAF P5, Navy P5, Link-16, & IFF tracks for a complete picture
    • The first local, multi-service LFE in CY22
  • Supported training for two guest company RTOs and provided valuable system orientation to the new TSD Link Manager
  • Led the effort to support a four person LMOC team visit to complete upgrades and conduct systems training that was not conducted during the initial installation
    • Multiple system bugs and deficiencies were corrected and the system was upgraded from WarRoom1.0 to WarRoom1.2
    • Visit enabled AFLCMC operations instruction the following week
  • Key participant in the LMON/Link-16 Integration Meeting via teleconference
    • The participants included AFLCMC, GTRI, AFMC, and Luke & Shaw system users
    • The primary focus of the meeting was continued integration WarRoom/LMOC software and AFRL’s NICE/DISGUI LVC system
  • Supported 12 personnel from AFLCMC P6 SPO, 46 TES, ACC/A3AR, and Collins Aerospace for War Room and Pod Shop immersion
    • Primary objective to expose the Collins Personnel to Air Force operations vs. their previous experience with Navy operations
    • Mike Bennet specifically requested Brad explain the latest P5 Spectrum Reallocation capabilities including the SAW tool and geographic functionality of the upgrade
    • Feedback was very positive, and Brad received high praise for his expertise
  • Assisted George Weiss from NAVSURWARCEN to troubleshoot DRMS issues that have been occurring throughout Air Force sites. Brad’s experience helped fixed the echo or "Stadium Effect" sound, as well as other problems within the DRMS system
  • Maintains a zero discrepancy COMSEC inspection and evaluation program
  • Diligently worked with the 20 Comm Sq to plan NSA-directed TACLAN software upgrades on short notice; filled a PCS-induced void in the undermanned OSK shop
  • Primary Pod Shop fill-in for work absences; maintains proficiency in all pod loading & maintenance functions while also acting as primary PSTU programmer
  • Maintains COMPTIA certifications in A+, Network+, and Security+, completing appropriate continuing education courseware and appropriately spacing certifications to incur minimal cost
  • Through all the challenges of the upgrades, he has maintained his sanity and a full head of hair that has not gone completely grey!
